Arts, Culture and Heritage

Arts, culture and heritage are central to Greater Geelong’s identity and to the way we live, connect and grow as a community.

Arts Header Networking - Arts and Culture

They shape our sense of place, strengthen wellbeing, and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive and prosperous region. Guided by the vision of a clever and creative city-region, we invest in and support cultural life that reflects our stories, celebrates our heritage, nurtures creativity and helps shape our future.

Greater Geelong has significant cultural and heritage strengths. We build on these strengths by raising the profile of our creative region, encouraging participation, supporting the cultural sector, and recognising the important role arts, culture and heritage play in community life and prosperity.

We provide and support a diverse range of arts, culture and heritage programs, events, places and services.
