An event organiser's tool kit

If you are planning an event in a public open space, an on site events tool kit will be an invaluable resource.

There are a number of items that should be considered at a minimum for an event organiser's toolkit. These include:

  • batteries
  • cable ties and cutters
  • clipboards
  • copy of the Event Plan and Site Plan
  • double adaptor and extension cords
  • first aid kit
  • gaffa tape (red, black, white), hazard tape and sticky tape
  • pens, pencils, highlighters
  • incident report forms
  • matches or lighter
  • lollies (to keep staff energised and happy)!
  • measuring tape
  • mobile phone charger/s
  • mosquito repellent
  • paper towel or wipes
  • roll of garbage bags
  • scissors
  • sticky tape
  • sun block
  • torch with charged batteries.
