The Wonderland Spiegeltent is coming back to Barwon Heads
for the summer holidays with its biggest line up yet!
Step back in time and recapture the magic of the Golden Age of circus! Located over summer at The beautiful Barwon Heads Foreshore Lahey Square a short stroll from all accommodations and Restaurants, Wonderland Spiegeltent is thrilled to bring a line up of Circus- Cabaret – Music - Comedy, Free and ticketed events, prepare to suspend your belief when you enter our realm of historic, European luxury.
Inside the Wonderland Spiegeltent, you will find a line-up of award-winning, intimate and dazzling performances, astonishing acrobats and circus performers, breathtaking cabaret, scandalous side shows and deliciously debauched burlesque, as well as family-friendly shows and world class comedians and musicians.

- Tex Perkins & Matt Walker

It’s understandably difficult to pull together a coherent picture of a man whose career has taken in everything from the groundbreaking experimental punktonica of Sydney mid-80s noiseniks Thug to the lilting, dark country of his recent material with the Dark Horses. From the hard edged pub rock of the Beasts Of Bourbon’s, a snarling slice of filthy pub rock to the evocative soundscapes of The Cruel Sea, whose extraordinary 1991 single ‘This Is Not The Way Home’ placed Perkins’ world-weary growl in a new musical context and heralded the emergence of an entirely original yet archetypically Australian sound.

From Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock and as a solo artist with no less than 26 ARIA Top 40 hits to his credit as a singer, songwriter and producer, Ross Wilson is one of Australia’s most awarded, respected and well-known artists! From the legendary band Daddy Cool whose number one anthem Eagle Rock and debut album "Daddy Who?" smashed all previous sales records in Australia, to the 1977 formation of Mondo Rock, delivering 80’s hits ‘Cool World’, ‘State of The Heart’, ‘Chemistry’, ‘No Time’, and ‘Come Said The Boy’ and into the 21st century as a solo performer, Wilson has never been out of the limelight. Twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Wilson’s live performances are legendary.
